And when you heal my broken wings,
yes, you heal my everything...
You tell me to live.

About

Hello, World!

I’m a 5th year senior at Colorado Christian University, finishing up a double major in Mathematics (emphasis in Secondary Education) and Computer Information Systems (with hopeful graduate-work to follow).  I’ve lived in Colorado for 3 years, having transfered from Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) where I was majoring in Computer Science.  I love Denver - snowboarding, camping, coffee shops, hippies - it’s a great place to be a 20-something.

Besides my interest in outdoor activities, I’m an investigative and practical computer geek.  I’ve been coding and creating websites since I was in 6th grade, and now focus most of my efforts in Linux System Management and Programming.  I have given presentations to conferences to promote the use of Linux in classrooms and was the leader of the Colorado LoCo team for just over a year.  I’m currently too poor (college student!) to afford to create and explore all of the projects I would like to, but I’ll be catching up on many lost-projects once I am out of school and working.

Lastly, I’ve found a renewed interest in reading within the last year.  You should definitely check out my page (read: rant) on reading.  I love collecting, reading, discussing, and exploring books.  You can certainly expect to see some reviews of books being posted up here quite frequently.
